For many of our Guests this stunning Indoor Heated Private Swimming Pool is what it’s all about! The Pool is in a truly fabulous self contained Building. There is masses of space for up to 10 people (and more) to sit around the Pool whilst others swim. There is a separate private Changing Room with underfloor heating and a fabulous full private Wet Room with Shower, Loo and Wash facilities, also with full underfloor heating….Stunning!
The Pool is kept at a perfect temperature of 29 – 30 Degrees. This is warm enough for children, but not so hot as to be uncomfortable. Meticulous care is taken in the maintaining of the Pool and we are delighted that many children, and indeed some Adults, have learned to swim here with us. The Pool is approximately 36 feet in length and 16 feet wide – which makes it large as Private Pools go. It is about 4’2″ deep all of the way around and across. The Pool is entirely private and just yours to use – you share it with no-one else at any time.
In the past our children have had Pool Parties and we have had up to 25 children all in the Pool at once with one or two Dads in at the same time to do their Lifeguard bit! It is perfect for doing lengths, or for those who just want to lie back and float a bit, or perhaps toss a Ball about – it all works well. Whilst we do try and keep a few soft inflatables about for you to enjoy playing with whilst in the Pool do feel free to bring your own to play with too if you wish (just soft ones though please!)
We provide an area with drying Racks next to the Pool which is perfect for hanging up wet Costumes and Towels to let them dry out when you have finished Swimming, and remember you can have a shower in the specially designed wet room and change in the changing room before returning next door to your Lodge.
