We are delighted to be able to offer this fabulous Lodge situated in the Grounds of our Home to Holidaymakers. As you are renting the whole Lodge you share the Heated Indoor Swimming Pool with no-one else. Situated in a quiet country lane and perfectly situated for sightseeing, walking and many other Countryside pursuits, and yet so close to the vibrant buzz of Stratford upon Avon, The Cotswolds, and Warwick with its infamous Castle.
Wonderful Countryside walks begin from just outside the Entrance Gates. There are several hundred acres of farmland and wonderful countryside to meander through, and we are a mere 200 yard gentle stroll from the Canal that flows right into the centre of Stratford Upon Avon and beyond. Private secure parking right outside your front door behind Electrically operated Gates.
There are several areas within the large garden where you may sit and enjoy a glass of wine and take in the countryside air. We are fortunate to have an acclaimed private Livery Stable (not open to the public) next door to our Property and so generally there is a large and varied assortment of beautiful horses milling around in the field adjacent to our grounds (they are wonderful to look at, but each is privately owned and so they are not unfortunately available to ride!) Horse riding is available a very short distance away however……..
We have lived here for over 20 years, and been holiday letting our Lodge to guests since 2010, and so we have a wealth of knowledge of things to do locally, and within The Lodge you will also find hundreds of Leaflets and Brochures on things to do during your stay with us. You may just wish to relax by the Pool and doing nothing else all day……..do as you fancy, its your time away. It is remarkable how instantly relaxed all of our Guests seem to become and it is a testament to this that so many of our guests return to stay here year after year.
The Lodge is situated within our Grounds in such a way that it is set apart from our House and benefits from its own large outside spaces. Ling Lodge itself is south facing and catches the sun all day and so a BBQ outside on the large Patio is an absolute must. Loads of Room to relax, play Cricket or Football, or just sit back and enjoy a drink whilst enjoying a BBQ or a Meal outside whilst relaxing in the very comfortable rattan armchairs that surround the wonderful outside Dining Table designed to easily seat 10 people. Holiday times with Family and Friends are important to us all and we wish every Guest to enjoy themselves.
